Area Military: Civil War - War on Terrorism
Items include Civil War saber; WWI uniform, medals, stories, and letters; items carried by WWII soldiers through Africa and Italy, driftwood from Anzio beachhead, captured Nazi flag, letters home; Korean War uniform; Viet Nam War uniform and MIA bracelets; Gulf War uniform and flag.

Jumbo Well: Eighth Wonder of the Modern World
Pictures and memorabilia from the well that spewed millions of gallons of water into the streets of Belle Plaine, captured world-wide attention, and took more than a year to cap.

Native American Artifacts
Native American artificats donated to the museum by John and Barb Fullmer and Connie Dunkin. The artifacts were found on the Stammer farm east of Belle Plaine. They include arrowheads, knife blades, dart points, spear tips, scrapers, drills, gravers, and other tools. Some of the artifacts were in use when our ancestors arrived in America, but most are hundreds and thousands of years old. They represent the existence of humanity across the landscape of Iowa from the end of the last Ice Age to the modern era. They represent some 13,000 years of human occupation of the Belle Plaine area.
